Part of a Lyon County road northeast of Emporia is now closed for infrastructure work.
The Lyon County Highway Department says Road P is closed between Roads 260 and 270, about 10 miles northeast of Emporia and three miles west of Lyon State Fishing Lake. Two culverts are getting replaced almost half a mile north of the 260 and P intersection.
The road will remain closed to thru traffic until both culverts are replaced.
