Crime Stoppers says Curtis Barker, 22, was arrested by Emporia Police shortly before 1:30 pm Tuesday. Barker was booked on suspicion of criminal damage, according to the Lyon County Jail roster.
Tuesday’s arrest followed a post Monday from Crime Stoppers, saying a suspect allegedly spray-painted the word “ZiP” on several downtown Emporia buildings as well as Emporia High and Walmart.
Formal charges are currently pending.
