Emporia Underground Utilities crews are handling a water main repair Friday morning.
City Communications Manager Christine Torrens says repairs at Fifth and State will begin around 8 am. Repairs typically take three to six hours to complete, depending on the situation.
Torrens says water pressure near the break zone may well be on low pressure until the repairs begin. Pressure may well be disrupted during the repair process.
