Needing a holiday pie, coffee cake or rolls as Thanksgiving approaches?
If you act fast, you can get one ordered through the Flint Hills Technical College’s Culinary Arts program.
Culinary Arts students are doing the baking as a fundraiser, as College President Caron Daugherty explains:
Apple pies can be ordered unbaked if you want to bake them at home. All other items will be baked and frozen.
Orders must be placed by 4 pm Monday and then picked up by 4 pm Friday. Prices range from $5-$20, depending on the item. Information is available on the Flint Hills Technical College Facebook page and on givesmart.com.
