It’s all systems go for customers of Coffey County Rural Water District 2 impacted by a water main break and resulting boil water advisory last week.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment lifted the advisory for customers in Coffey, Greenwood and Woodson counties early Monday.
The advisory was issued Wednesday after a water main break that caused a loss of pressure, thus increasing the risk of bacterial contamination. Lab samples had no evidence of contamination, and KDHE says says all other conditions that put the district water system at risk were resolved.
