The Kansas Board of Regents is coming to Emporia this week.
Regents will have their November meeting at Emporia State University on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will see several council meetings spread out across campus before consent agenda items, discussions about mandatory and voluntary retirement plans and a review of results for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Challenge.
Regents will also consider potential housing and food rate adjustments, including increases of 3.9 to 4.1 percent at Emporia State University, depending on the category.
Thursday’s time will be spent visiting the campus.
