A mixture of fairy tales will be seen in one show this weekend at Emporia High School.
The Emporia High Theatre Department is set to perform Into The Woods starting Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the EHS Auditorium.
Arabella Turner plays the Baker’s Wife. Turner says her character has a lot of different emotions throughout the show which provides her with a challenge in portraying the character.
Daniel Mendoza plays the Baker. Mendoza says he likes playing the Baker because of the variety of emotions.
Cas Samples plays the Witch. Samples says she can put her thoughts on how the Witch should be portrayed on stage.
Ava Karcher is the Set Crew’s Chief. Karcher says she likes this show because of the variety of different fairy tale characters represented.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and EHS students are $2. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at http://emporiahs.booktix.net/
If you missed Thursday’s performance, there’s still two more chances to see the show on Friday and Saturday also at 7 p.m.
