Whenever Santa Claus comes to town there is always a big turnout and this Saturday at the Emporia Public Library is shaping up to be no different.
Library Director Pauline Stacchini recently joined KVOE’s Morning Show to preview the annual Breakfast with Santa coming up this weekend. Stacchini says as of Wednesday around 330 people have expressed interest in the event with even more anticipated to arrive the day of the event.
Stacchini noted her excitement for the event which she says is “steeped in tradition.”
The morning’s activities will include a continental breakfast, arts and crafts and live music. The library’s storybook tree will also be available for viewing along with the Polar Express train.
Breakfast with Santa will begin at 9 am. For more information find the Emporia Public Library on Facebook or visit Emporialibrary.org.
