Residents are encouraged to support a lot of ventures during the holidays, and that includes the now-annual Kari’s Christmas Ring for Kids fundraiser.
This year’s custom-designed ring by Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal owner Kari Calhoun is a three-quarter-carat round princess emerald pear oval diamond ring set in 10-carat yellow gold. The value is just under $4,900.
On KVOE’s Morning Show on Thursday, Calhoun said there was an emotional inspiration for this ring.
The ring is on display at Kari’s, 1015 Industrial. Suggested donations are $5 per ticket or $20 for five tickets.
The drawing date is pending but will take place shortly before Christmas. All proceeds benefit children served by SOS.
