There is a new start-your-own business set of classes available for Emporia’s Hispanic community. And it starts Wednesday afternoon.
Mi Negocio Academy is a six-part set of classes created through a partnership of the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Development Center. Chamber Membership Director Rebeca Herrera says participants will learn more about business planning, financial management, legal matters, operations and marketing.
All sessions are from 2-4:30 pm at the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial. Cost is $100 to attend all six classes.
