Emporia State junior wide receiver Tyler Kahmann is adding to his legacy. A day after being named Second Team AP All-American, Kahmann has picked up another Second Team All-American Honor from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association. Kahmann was previously named First Team All-MIAA and All-Region after leading the country in touchdown catches and finishing in the top five in receptions and receiving yards. Kahmann was also ranked in the top ten in scoring and total touchdowns. He had 101 receptions for 1234 yards with seven 100-yard receiving games in his last eight. Kahmann was the only player at any level of NCAA football this year with at least 100 catches, 1,000 receiving yards, and 20 touchdown catches. The Haysville, Kan. native has 34 touchdowns in his career and 2198 career receiving yards. He’s the 15th Hornet to earn D2CCA (previously Daktronics) All-American Honors and the first since punter JJustin Marcha earned first team honors in 2017.
