One person was transported to Newman Regional Health after an injury accident in central Emporia Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the 300 block of State Street just before 4:30 p.m. According to Emporia Batallion Chief Willie Ward, initial indications were that one vehicle was involved, however, a full crash narrative is still pending.
The individual’s name involved in the accident has not been released and was taken to Newman Regional Health with minor injuries. The vehicle was disabled and towed from the scene.
