Coffey County deputies are investigating a social media threat.
In a New Year’s Eve social media post, Sheriff Tom Johnson says the threat was aimed at USD 245 Southern Coffey County. No other details about the threat are being divulged.
School is out for the district until Tuesday, but Johnson says: “All steps will be taken to ensure all students and faculty are provided a safe learning environment.”
