As the state’s District Court Public Access Portal stabilizes, Lyon County District Court is adjusting its hours to get all court case files available online.
District Court Administrator Ruth Wheeler says all cases and documents filed since Oct. 12, the date of a major foreign cyberattack, have to be backloaded — at the same time court clerks are processing filings as they develop.
Wheeler says the court is dedicated to finishing the backload process as “efficiently” as possible, so court clerk offices in Lyon and Chase counties have adjusted their public hours until further notice. Both offices will be open to the public from 9 am to 3 pm, excluding a lunch break from 12-1 pm.
Meanwhile, Lyon County’s online docket had not been updated since Nov. 15. Online dockets for both Lyon and Chase counties have been removed until the backload process is finished.
