The Emporia High diving team had its first meet of 2024 with an 11-dive meet at EHS.
Junior Mark Decker finished fifth with a score of 161.35. Decker was eliminated after eight dives by having an incomplete dive in his ninth dive during the final round.
Emporia High will next be in action on Thursday when both the swimmers and divers will compete at Campus. Diving will begin at 2 p.m. with swim events set to start at 5:30 p.m. at Campus High School.
