Emporia High senior Alex Allemang qualified for state in diving Thursday in the Campus Invitational.
Allemang had the degree of difficulty and the score to get him to the state meet. Allemang made it through 10 rounds before having an incomplete dive in his final dive of the night. Allemang finished the meet in fifth place.
Allemang will have a chance to dive again Friday at Maize, but could back out of that meet and rest up for the Centennial League meet to be held next Thursday in Topeka.
