Madison swept Northern Heights in the Area Game of the Week Friday night.
In the girls contest, Madison started the game off on a 19-0 run and never looked back in their 65-42 victory over Northern Heights.
Heights, crippled by injuries, made things interesting in the second quarter drawing the game within 14 points at halftime.
Madison’s post play would prove to be too much. Jalynn Weakley led all scorers with 20 points.
Northern Heights was led in scoring by Briauhna Pierce with 18.
It was low scoring affair in the second game, with Madison pulling away in the second half to win 43-14.
Madison hung their hat on their defense taking a 19-9 halftime lead. The defense would continue in the third quarter, as Madison held Northern Heights scoreless in the frame.
Madison was led by Colton Isch with 17, while Heights was led in scoring by Kelton Bish with 9.
