The Emporia State football team will hold its 2024 Signing Day Bash Thursday at 627 Event Space in downtown Emporia. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a social and will continue with a review of recruits beginning at 6:30 p.m. Head coach Garin Higgins will headline the event and position coaches will review recruits in their position group including highlight clips. The Hornets finished 9-3 last season with a win in the 2023 Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl. The Hornets enter 2024 seeking their third-straight postseason appearance and a return to the NCAA playoffs for the first time since 2016. ESU is set to return 10 starters from the Heritage Bowl on offense and seven on defense in 2024.
