Construction continues for the Emporia Pavilions shopping development.
Above-ground work has been underway since November and now involves three stores — the future homes of Five Below, Maurices and Old Navy. Updated construction timetables are pending.
Developer Spencer Thomson says he is nearing completion on leases for two more nationally-known tenants. Thomson also continues to work towards bringing several restaurants to the development.
This is the third phase of construction at the Pavilions at 24th and Industrial. Ross Dress for Less, Shoe Dept Encore and Marshalls opened in late 2022 or early last year. Hobby Lobby was the first store at the Pavilions, opening in 2017.
