Over the last two years, the Emporia Friends of the Zoo’s annual Roundup Auction has generated over $250,000 — and a big total is expected for the big event Friday evening.
EFOZ board member Colleen Mitchell says the event is big for the zoo because of what it funds.
This also comes as the zoo continues its renovations and expansions through the nearly $5 million Oasis capital campaign.
The Roundup Auction has sold out.
