A preliminary hearing in a Lyon County drug distribution case was delayed Wednesday.
Prosecutors had asked for a delay in the case against Azim Williams, saying a key witnesses was unable to attend. Williams now has a hearing April 9.
Meanwhile, a pretrial conference is now planned for April 26 for Williams’ co-defendant, Sophia Cole, after a separate preliminary hearing Wednesday.
Both are charged with single counts distributing up to 100 dosage units of fentanyl, as well as up to 100 grams of methamphetamine and up to 450 grams of marijuana as part of an alleged incident Feb. 5.
