Lyon County commissioners will handle various points of business with their action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will start their business with the annual review from CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness. They will then review a pair of requests from County Engineer Chip Woods, a roughly $108,000 bid from APAC-Holiday Sand and Stone for what’s called CM-K cover material and a nearly $22,000 quote from Subsurface Inc to buy extensions lining four culverts along Americus Road.
Speaking of purchases, commissioners could approve six new pickups for the Sheriff’s Office from Longbine Auto Plaza at an estimated cost of over $300,000, a new copier from Century Business Technologies for over $5,200 as requested by Facilities Director Robbie Weiss and a $6,400 professional services agreement with Schneider Geospatial as mentioned by County Appraiser Ryan Janzen.
Human Resources Director Alicia Rumold will also review the worker’s compensation premium audit and go over certain worker’s compensation, vacation and employee assistance policies.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
