Area residents: brace yourselves for a new physical challenge later this spring.
The Howe Hoist is coming May 5. Visit Emporia Director LeLan Dains says the premise is simple.
Cost is $10 to participate, with proceeds benefiting Good Way Gardens.
The Howe Hoist is a partnership between Visit Emporia, Good Muscle and Good Way Gardens. Dains says it connects to Welsh history, but it also ties into Emporia’s culture of unique and challenging events — in much the same way as Unbound Gravel.
