The Emporia High boys tennis team finished ninth in its home tournament on Saturday. Senior Jacob Simons finished 15th in singles play going 1-3 defeating teammate Sheldon Stewart, 8-6, in the 15th place match. Emporia High travels to Newton for a tournament on Thursday.
