Kansas State center Ayoka Lee announced via K-State women’s basketball Twitter account that she’ll return for one last season in Manhattan with the Wildcats on Sunday. The Second Team All-American from the Athletic and Third Team All-American by The Sporting News was First Team All-Big 12 and an all-conference defensive team award winner this year. Lee averaged 20 ppg while shooting 62% from the field this season. She grabbed nearly nine rpg while blocking almost three shots per game. Lee was a Top 15 finalist for the John Wooden Award and is third in school history in career scoring and is the program record holder for career scoring average at 19.2 ppg. The Wildcats finished 26-8 last year and fell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament achieving a national ranking as high as #2. 2024-25 would be Lee’s seventh season at Kansas State.
