The Emporia Recreation Commission’s New Rec Center Steering Committee will have pre-submission conferences during its meeting Tuesday.
Committee members are meeting with architects and construction managers at risk as it chooses the partners to take the next steps in determining whether the city should have a new public recreation center or a dramatically expanded one. Requests for Qualification went out last month after Steering Committee approval.
The overall meeting begins at 10 am at the Lee Beran Recreation Center. It is open to the public.
