Emporia High junior Nolan Jacob won the Manhattan Invitational held at Manhattan Country Club on Monday.
Jacob shot a 74 (+4) four over par in his round to win the tournament by two strokes over Topeka West’s Myles Alonzo. Junior Hudson Sauder shot an 82 (+12) good for 12th. Junior Will Walker finished 27th shooting an 88 (+18) . Freshman Marley Harter finished with a 93 (+23), good for 46th. Senior Finneas Reynolds finished 58th with a 101 (+31). Junior Jared Johnson finished 62nd with a 102 (+32).
The Spartans finished with a 337 (+57), behind Wamego, Manhattan, and Washburn Rural. Emporia High will next be in action next Wednesday at the Seaman Invitational at Village Greens Golf Course.
