A pair of Lyon County criminal cases are on hold after a decision Tuesday by Judge Laura Miser.
William Luna is charged separately with two counts of aggravated assault in one case from this past February and battery on law enforcement in the other from this past October. Judge Miser approved an order for psychiatric or psychological examination as part of a hearing Tuesday. No other court dates are currently posted on the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal.
Details about the alleged law enforcement battery have not posted to the portal, but Luna is accused of using a butterfly knife near a second person as part of the aggravated assault.
