Kale Bonebrake now has the grand prize in hand after claiming first place in KVOE’s annual Beat the Bracket contest.
His strategy? “Pick and choose.”
Contestants could pick up brackets from Blackcreek Diesel and Automotive, Bourbon Cowboy, Emporia State Federal Credit Union, Gambino’s Pizza, The Liquor Store, Triad Leasing and KVOE. Contestants could also take advantage of special buzzwords announced during KVOE’s Morning Show.
Bonebrake actually finished tied for first with Deborah Hanson and Eddie Brooks but took first because of tiebreakers. Bonebrake picked up a recliner from Triad and a year’s worth of oil changes from Blackcreek Diesel and Automotive. Hanson receives $300 in cash from Emporia State Federal Credit Union, while Brooks receives $100 in cash from the Credit Union.
