Emporia High juniors Nolan Jacob and Hudson Sauder finished 1-2 in the Circle Invitational at Willowbend Golf Club in Wichita on Monday.
Jacob won his second consecutive tournament by shooting a 1-under 71 by three strokes over Sauder. Sauder shot a 2-over 74 good for second place. Junior Will Walker finished sixth with a 78. Freshman Marley Harter finished 11th with an 87. Junior Jared Johnson finished in a tie for 23rd with a 94. Senior Cooper Rech finished tied for 26th with a 95.
As a team, Emporia High finished second with a season-low 310, four strokes behind team champion Circle.
Emporia High will head to Salina for the Salina South Invitational on Friday.
