The Emporia High girls soccer team bounced back on Tuesday night against Topeka West.
Seven different Lady Spartans scored in a 10-0 victory over the Lady Chargers. Three Lady Spartans scored two goals, Emeil Bennett, Keilara Owens, and Peyton Chanley. Owens said it was great to get everyone involved.
Emma Swindle, Karah Cooper, Colee Butler and Emersyn Johnson also scored goals for the Lady Spartans. Emporia High coach Oscar Macias said it was a team effort after tying with Wichita Southeast on Monday night.
Emporia High matched its win total of six from 2023 with its win on Tuesday. The Lady Spartans are 6-2-1 and will travel to Wichita Classical on Thursday.
