The Emporia High girls soccer team fell in overtime to Wichita Heights on Monday night, 2-1.
Emporia High scored with just over 21 minutes left in regulation on a goal by Peyton Chanley. Wichita Heights tied the game right before regulation ended and scored the game-winning goal in the first overtime period.
Emporia High is now 7-3-1 on the season. The Lady Spartans head back to Wichita on Thursday to face Wichita West.
