The Kansas City Chiefs announced new contracts for head coach Andy Reid, team president Mark Donovan, and general manager Brett Veach on Monday night. Terms of the deals were not announced but the club says the deals will keep the three together for the ‘long-term future.’ NFL Network reports that Reid’s deal keeps him in Kansas City through 2029 while Veach’s runs through the end of the decade. Kansas City has won three Super Bowls in the past five seasons and will be looking for the NFL’s first-ever three-peat in 2024. Donovan has been in his role since 2011. Veach joined the team in 2017. In Reid’s tenure dating back to 2013, the Chiefs are 144-58 overall and have made the playoffs all but one year including eight-straight AFC West titles and six consecutive trips to the AFC Championship game. The NFL Network report says the new deal makes Reid the highest paid coach in the league.
