Formal charges are now in place against a Strong City man who allegedly led a foot pursuit this week.
Trenton Wesley Collins has been charged with single counts of interference with law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and fishing without a license. Charges follow an alleged incident late Monday night when Chase County deputies tried to contact Collins for unspecified reasons. After Collins allegedly fled on foot, deputies found Collins hiding in some trees after information from the Chase County drone and work involving Morris County K9 Kimber.
Collins has his first official court appearance at 2 pm Monday.
