Fundraising for Denim and Diamonds is off to a great start according to Newman Regional Health Events Coordinator Saylor Middleton.
The 2nd annual Denim and Diamonds Golf Tournament was held on Friday at Emporia Golf Course. Middleton says they had a great turnout.
Middleton says 19 teams participated in the tournament and they couldn’t have asked for a perfect day to play a round of golf. The next fundraiser is a quick turnaround with their popular event, the Denim and Diamonds BBQ set for Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Middleton says there’s time to place an order.
The cost for lunch is $10 and there’s free delivery for orders of five or more. Pickup for the lunches will be on the east side of the hospital at Entrance F. To place your order for the BBQ lunch, visit newmanrh.org/ddbbq.
Tickets for the signature event set for August 2 at Webb Lecture Hall will go on sale soon.
Funds from Denim and Diamonds will go to several different projects and enhancements at Newman Regional Health.
