Coffey Health System will have a new leader come August.
It was announced on April 24 that the Board of Trustees selected Stacy Augustyn to serve as the agency’s new Chief Executive Officer. Augustyn has been with CHS since 2013 when she began as a nurse in the emergency room and eventually worked her way up to Chief Operating Officer, a role she has held since 2022.
Augustyn also served as the organization’s Chief Quality and Compliance officer from 2018 to 2022. Of Augustyn’s appointment, Board Chairman Steve Hopkins stated “Stacy has shown impeccable leadership skills and attention to detail, and her deep knowledge of Coffey Health System provides stability to move Coffey Health System forward.”
Augustyn will replace Joben Rieth who tendered his resignation as CEO on April 15. Rieth will remain on as CEO through the summer to aid with the transition until Augustyn’s appointment becomes official on August 1.
