The Emporia High girls soccer team was shut out in its final regular season home game against Hayden on Tuesday night, 4-0.
Hayden scored three times in the first half and added its final goal halfway through the second half. Emporia High coach Oscar Macias said the Lady Spartans can’t have a performance like this again knowing the postseason is right around the corner.
Emporia High is now 9-5-1 on the season. The Lady Spartans conclude the regular season at Topeka High on Thursday.
