The Denim and Diamonds BBQ lunch is set for Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Newman Regional Health Events Coordinator Saylor Middleton says it’s reached its goal on order, but there’s still time to place your order.
The cost for lunch is $10 and there’s free delivery for orders of five or more. Pickup for the lunches will be on the east side of the hospital at Entrance F.
Middleton says the lunch couldn’t be possible without its partners, Tyson, who provided the meat, Bobby D’s for smoking the meat, Hostess for cupcakes, and McDonald’s for apples and barbecue sauce.
Middleton says tickets for the signature event set for August 2 at Webb Lecture Hall will go on sale by the end of the month.
Funds from Denim and Diamonds will go to several different projects and enhancements at Newman Regional Health.
