Another retail location in downtown Emporia is closing its doors.
Mikes’ Attic has announced it will close at the end of the month after 6.5 years of offering antiques, collectibles and records among other items. Owners Mike McDougald, Mike Mertens and Mike Morgan thanked the “amazing dealers, customers and friends who have made it all possible.”
Mikes’ Attic joins Vault Meats and Cheeses in announcing a closure at the end of May, but it also follows the closure of other downtown businesses relatively recently — Chi Em Eats in February and Graves Drugs in January.
