Emporia’s roller skating rink is on the market.
Rollers, 701 Graham, has been listed, according to owner Kelly Maxfield. As a result, the business is tentatively set to be closed at least between May 19-July 31. Birthday party reservations are not being taken for dates after May 18.
Maxfield says the decision to sell came “after careful consideration” and a lot of uncertainty. He plans to reopen the business if the rink does not sell. He also thanked customers who have supported the business for nearly 50 years.
