The Emporia Granada Theatre ‘s Board of Directors has named Hank Osterhout as its permanent director.
Osterhout took over as interim director back in March after prior director Stacey Schneider resigned, mentioning a willingness to step back into her prior role as executive assistant and the need to spend more time with family.
This comes as the Granada is adjusting its operations model, including staffing for different events, monetizing revenue streams, highlighting existing customer bases and possibly expanding marketing efforts to nearby states.
The Granada has several upcoming shows, including The Steel Wheels, Weda Skirts and Sweet Lil and The Nothings on May 28, the Emporia Pride Celebration on June 22, Hawthorne Heights on June 26, the Everclear-Marcy Playground-Jimmie’s Chicken Shack concert Sept. 24 and Dale Watson on Oct. 5.
