Free summer meals begin this week for USD 253 Emporia school students.
Drive-thru pickup for the day’s lunch will be available from 11:30 am to 1 pm both at Riverside and Village schools. Children must be present to receive meals.
This is a service available for children ages 1-18. A revised flyer says meals will not be offered June 19. Also, meals will not be offered July 1-5 due to the Independence Day holiday.
