A pretrial hearing is planned for Tuesday in a Lyon County vehicular murder case.
Travis Edwards will appear at 10 am before Judge Jeff Larson.
Edwards is charged with two counts of second-degree murder, as well as three counts of aggravated battery and one count of interfering with law enforcement. Charges follow a crash on US Highway 50 near Road C in April 2023 where two people, 29-year-old Ryan Miller of Independence, Missouri, and 32-year-old Jacob Suenram of Lawrence, were killed. Miller and three other people were hurt in the wreck.
