Two area high school golfers received All-State honors from the Kansas Golf Coaches Association this week.
Emporia High’s Hudson Sauder is an honorable mention selection in Class 5A. Sauder finished 16th at the Class 5A State Golf Championship held at Sand Creek Station in Newton last month. Council Grove’s Drew Buchman is a first-team selection in Class 3A. Buchman finished in a tie for third at the Class 3A State Golf Championship held at Emporia Golf Course last month.
