The Emporia State soccer team has added two to its recruiting class for 2024. Defender Ruby Ryan is transferring to ESU from Middle Tennessee State. The Englishwoman played in one game for the Blue Raiders last year after spending three seasons as a member of the Everton Football Club’s U-21 women’s team. Megan Jeremias is now a Lady Hornet after transferring from Murray State. Jeremias appeared in nine matches last year at midfield for the Racers. She earned second team all-conference honors at St. Louis Scott Gallagher, a soccer sports club. The Lady Hornets also announced the addition of George Gunn to the coaching staff as a volunteer assistant. The Englishman was an assistant coach on Jane Grimley-Gunn’s staff at Missouri S&T for one season. He previously coached three years at Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware.
