Newman Regional Health’s chief administrative officer has been featured in a prominent health publication.
CEO Cathy Pimple is part of the 2024 Becker’s Hospital Review “Community Hospital CEOs to Know” list that was recently publicized. Pimple has been noted for what Becker’s says are “significant” contributions to clinical process improvements and quality standards, both in clinical and non-clinical environments. Becker’s also highlights the hospital’s regional and national recognition for chronic care management and sepsis compliance, as well as nursing education investments like a partnership with Emporia State University for a simulation hospital.
Speaking of achievements, Becker’s noted Pimple’s involvement in several honors for Newman Regional, including a Top 100 Community Access Hospital through The Chartis Center last year.
Pimple took over as CEO last fall, replacing Bob Wright, but she has over 30 years of experience in the medical field, including a nurse’s aide, registered nurse and several administrative positions, all at Newman Regional Health.
