The city of Emporia is inviting the public to an upcoming seminar detailing the eviction process.
The seminar will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 6 pm inside of City Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium. The seminar will last approximately one hour and will detail the types of eviction, common notices, the process itself, illegal and retaliatory evictions and the court process connected to it.
The seminar has 15 slots available and light refreshments will be served. A second seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28 also from 6 pm to 7 pm.
