Formal charges are pending after an Emporia man was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder and other counts.
Emporia Police arrested 34-year-old Justin Colby Barrett shortly after midnight on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, domestic battery, criminal threat and endangerment.
Police Capt. Ray Mattas says this is not an open-records case, so officers will not release any additional information about this case.
