Antoine Moliere has been found guilty of raping a child.
Trial concluded in Lyon County District Court shortly after noon Wednesday when the jury convicted Moliere of raping a child who was no more than five years old when the alleged abuse took place between early February and mid-April last year. The jury deliberated roughly two hours before returning its verdict.
Sentencing is at 1:15 pm Aug. 30.
Moliere was already on lifetime sex offender registration after a 2005 conviction for sex abuse against a minor in Maryland from 2003.
