The annual Lunar Ride is taking place Saturday.
Cyclists have options of 30-mile or 50-mile rides, giving riders a chance to be back in Emporia before midnight. There are also aid stations at Harry & Lloyd’s in Americus and at Lake Kahola.
Check-in goes from 10 am to 6 pm Friday and Saturday at Merchant Cycles, 716 Commercial. Riders will launch from behind Merchant Cycles at 7 pm Saturday. The finish line gathering will be at Mulready’s Pub, with food trucks and live music.
